Shunga is a world leader in erotic cosmetics. Its natural ingredients, combined with active ingredients, deliver impressive results.
Entering Shunga's erotic world is like travelling back in time. Literally translated, Shunga means 'spring picture', a delicate way of referring to sexual relations.
The word was used for Japanese erotic paintings of the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, a type of ukiyo-e: works on wood or parchment depicting sensual scenes and episodes of carnal love, always created with great care and taste.
Although hidden for centuries, Shunga art marked the beginning of the pornography industry for the Japanese middle class and served for generations as instruction for the sons and daughters of many families.
